One of my former adult students, Vivienne Shalom, sent me this.

Vivienne was the lead designer for ‘The Project Hope’ mosaic that is featured in the Projects Page. She is a wonderful artist. I copied her response to my new site (putting all modesty aside!)

Josh, your website is truly inspiring. The work you have done with community groups is amazing and your joy and love of mentoring both children and adults is apparent.  I think it’s great that you have also shared your philosophy so viewers can get a sense of who you are and how you work. The only thing that I think could be added is a testamonial page. I know that I would say how “Josh makes everyone he works with feel so comfortable. He has a nurturing style that makes even the most insecure students feel empowered and appreciated. When the inevitable problems arise, Josh meets them with grace and creativity, modeling how challenges can become unique opportunities. Being part of one of Josh’s mosaic mural workshops and working on a community mosaic for Project Hope was a transformational experience for me.”

Thanks for sharing your site.
Vivienne
